VentoFoil
Built for deepsea shipping, the Econowind VentoFoil® 5-series turns wind into additional thrust to reduce fuel consumption, lower emissions and improve vessel efficiency. Fuel savings can reach up to 25%, depending on the vessel, route and number of units installed.
Why VentoFoils?
The Econowind VentoFoil® is designed for both newbuilds and straightforward retrofit projects. Once the foundation and cabling have been prepared to specification, the unit can be installed quayside in just a few days.
The VentoFoil® can also be tilted down into a resting position, helping to minimise impact on cargo operations and giving the vessel more flexibility when air draught is limited.
