Econowind is a leader in Wind-Assisted Ship Propulsion; a key technology that brings sustainability into the Shipping Industry. We design and build our wing sail inhouse in Zeewolde and have customer all over the world. The market is ready to adopt our wingsails, proven by the boost in sales over the last year. The role
Our team is growing, and we are looking for support. Your role is relatively broad, ranging from making sure the customer gets a proper experience to developing the way we look. Coordinate all marketing activities, branding, content, as well as hands-on activities. This is a 32-40 hours role, with at least 3 days at our office in Zeewolde.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns in line with sales goals.
- Support the CCO in setting up and optimizing marketing strategies.
- Prepare and monitor the marketing budget.
- Create engaging marketing content (social media, brochures, presentations, newsletters).
- Plan and organize trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Develop case studies and customer success stories together with the commercial team.
- Maintain and improve our online presence (website, SEO/SEA, LinkedIn, newsletters).
- Provide support to the Sales Team with scheduling, mailboxes, and workflow organization.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor degree level thinking; in Marketing, Communication, or Business Administration.
- Around 2–4 years of relevant work experience in marketing, events, or communications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a dynamic scale-up environment.
- Proactive and independent, while comfortable working in a small team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with CRM or ERP tools.
- Good command in both English and Dutch.
