As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate, to strengthen our team and help us unlock new opportunities in the maritime sector.
The Position
As a Warehouse Associate, you are responsible for efficiently and accurately carrying out warehouse and logistics tasks. You ensure that goods are correctly received, registered, processed, and shipped, and that workstations are supplied with the correct parts in a timely manner. Additionally, you perform inspections on finished products and prepare the necessary shipping documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and organizing the warehouse.
- Ordering parts and materials from suppliers.
- Receiving and inspecting incoming goods for completeness and damage.
- Logging goods into the system.
- Preparing and assembling bins with parts for workstations.
- Checking finished products for completeness using a checklist (no technical inspection).
- Preparing packing lists for shipments.
- Packing and shipping parcels to customers or partners.
Qualifications and skills
- MBO 4 (working and thinking level, preferably in logistics or technical fields.
- Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
- Ability to work accurately and in a structured manner.
- Hands-on mentality and proactive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of computers and logistics systems (ERP experience is a plus).
- Good command of Dutch or English, both spoken and written.
