Sales Executive

The position

The Sales Executive is part of the commercial team. As Sales Executive you are responsible for all sales activities and act as the main contact for the customer. Your role is very broad as we are still a small team, ranging from making sure the customer gets the best customer experience to representing Econowind on conferences and tradeshows. The job is on-site, full-time and applicable for Junior to Mid-Experienced level.

Ten years after its establishment, Econowind is leading in the installation of VentoFoil sail systems: A wing that works like a sail and saves about 10% fuel on sea-going vessels. Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and grow relationships with customers and key contacts.
  • Over-viewing commercial efforts; structure requests & follow-up meetings with international settings.
  • Ensuring correct and timely follow up.
  • Supporting external relations such as exhibitions, conventions, etc.
  • Maintaining a market overview and  deliver strategic advice to management.
  • International travel will be part of your job.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Maritime DNA.
  • Higher education level higher education (HBO/WO) preferably with Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering/ shipping experience.
  • Minimal 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a commercial technical role.
  • Positive persuasive, problem-solving, self-motivated, and independent.
  • Networker that likes being around and engage with people.
  • Your character is go-getting, commercial, with a proven track record.

This contract will be feasible for Dutch nationals and possibly for persons with a paid employment in the Netherlands, or a single permit that combines the residence permit and the work permit (in Dutch: gecombineerde vergunning verblijf en arbeid, GVVA).
